The Italian Antitrust Authority (IAA) accepts the commitments of ButanGas advised by Gattai, Minoli, Agostinelli & Partners

Silvia D’Alberti, partner and Claudia Cattarin, of counsel at Gattai Minoli Agostinelli, Partners law Firm, together with Matteo Cimenti, legal counsel of ButanGas S.p.A., have successfully assisted the company before the IAA in the investigation started last February, for an alleged violation of consumer protection law in relation to different aspects of the supply agreements of LPG.

As a result of a constructive dialogue with the IAA, ButanGas S.p.A. amended the supply agreements in order to allow consumers to make more conscious decisions on the purchasing of LPG and consequently gain greater freedom of choice.

The IAA considered the proposed commitments suitable to heal profiles of possible unfair commercial practice. The investigation has been closed without the ascertaining of infringement and without fines.
