Gattai Minoli Agostinelli & Partners’ growth continues by widening the services offered to its corporate and financial clients with the opening of a new Antitrust Department led by Silvia D’Alberti.
With Silvia’s entry the number of Partners now amounts to 21.
Silvia D’Alberti comes from Allen & Overy, where she was a Partner for many years heading the Antitrust Department. Before landing at Allen & Overy, she worked at the Italian Antitrust Authority for five years, also as co-director of the Energy Inquiry Office. Silvia – tier 1 in Chambers and Partners’ antitrust ranking – plays a leading role both at Italian and European levels in the competition law and consumer protection sectors. She has been dealing with both practice areas for more than twenty years, regularly representing the largest Italian and international companies in inquiry proceedings related to combination transactions, understandings, abuses, unfair commercial practices in antitrust damage actions and administrative litigation.
Silvia D’Alberti will lead a team based in Rome, including professionals with high seniority, such as Fabiana Campopiano and Claudia Cattarin, who have already worked with Silvia in her past professional experience.
The new Antitrust Department adds itself to the Labour Department led by Lorenzo Cairo and to the IP/IT Department led by Licia Garotti, all recently created by the Firm to strengthen and complete the range of integrated legal services offered to its own clients.
‘We feel particularly honoured and happy that a professional with such technical and human depth as Silvia D’Alberti’s – as stated by Bruno Gattai, Founder Partner of the Firm – has decided to join us, thus contributing her excellence in a crucial and delicate area for the national and, moreover, cross-border extraordinary transactions followed by the Firm’.
‘I’m very happy – has stated Silvia D’Alberti – to join an outstanding, dynamic and united Firm which has been capable, in a few years, of being successful on the market, thanks to very talented professionals and, at the same time, of widening the range of services offered to its clients with intelligent planning skills’.
